What to Expect

Information is gathered that will help us to connect you to the program and services best designed to meet your needs.

  • An access clinician will either interview you over the phone or in person in the office. You will be asked questions such as name, address, choice of office location, and reason for mental health services. You will also be asked questions about your history – medical as well as mental health history, family background, current support system and current stressors.
  • The access clinician will help you figure out payment methods, including insurance eligibility and authorizations for services at Clara Martin Center.
  • You will be scheduled to meet with an intake clinician for an initial assessment.
  • You will be given an appointment date and time for an hour and half evaluation. This evaluation will take place in an office and will be a face to face interview.
  • The evaluation continues the process which was started by the access clinician.
  • Once the evaluation is completed, a treatment plan will be developed with you and services will begin.

All of your personal information is kept strictly confidential. The intake clinician will be able to answers questions that you may have about services.
