Internships

Clara Martin Center is proud to sponsor clinical internship positions for students working towards a master level degree in counseling, psychology, social work, addictions, criminal justice and marriage and family therapy.  The diverse work environment offers opportunities for students to start with basic interventions and build up to more complex clinical services as skill level and confidence grows. In the recent years, Clara Martin has worked with graduate level students from Antioch University, Simmons College, Union Institute, Vermont Technical College, University of Vermont, Goddard College, Lesley University and many more.

To inquire about internship openings, please send your resume and a cover letter including the number of internship hours you are seeking to HR@claramartin.org.  Students are typically invited to participate in an interview process to determine the best possible placement based on desired geographic location, clinical population, work schedule and skill level. As open positions allow, students are encouraged to apply for regular permanent positions upon completion of their degree. Many master level clinical staff members started as clinical interns and became regular permanent staff upon graduation.
