Learning Environment

The foundation of our culture is built on the practice of team work and building a lifelong commitment to learning, expanding ones individual skill base and stretching your comfort zone with new challenges. We embrace these practices in all of our programs and across all of our sites.

To assist our clinical staff with obtaining and maintaining their professional licensure, we offer 20 – 30 hours per year of on site, free clinical training opportunities that are CEU approved by various licensing boards in the State of Vermont. By providing these trainings on site, and with our own senior clinical staff, we provide both a learning opportunity as well as a teaching opportunity for senior clinical staff.

In the past we have sponsored CEU approved trainings on the following topics:

  • Ethical & Risk Management Practices in Documenting & Disclosing Mental Health & Substance Abuse Information
  • Shame Resiliency
  • Treating ADHD in Adults
  • Cultural Diversity
  • Prenatal Substance Abuse Treatment
  • Developmental Trauma & Neurobiology in Children
  • Tool of Treatment for Mandated Violent Offenders
  • Advanced Ethics for Alcohol & Drug Counselors & Supervisors
