Tent outside next to a National Hunger and Homeless Awareness Week sign

CMC Marks National Hunger and Homeless Awareness Week

For the second year, Clara Martin Center brought attention to National Hunger and Homeless Awareness Week with a tent display at their Safe Haven location in Randolph, Vermont. The tent symbolizes the inadequate shelter that many homeless people utilize in place of permanent housing in the cold months.

Clara Martin Center collaborates with other local agencies in the state on this project to increase awareness and support for this population in need. We look forward to continuing this tradition each year as well as re-introducing a local homeless vigil in the town of Randolph starting in 2016.
