Outpatient Care
Mission:
Deliver high quality, cost-effective, outpatient mental health services to children, adolescents, and their families that will promote health & well being through the reduction or elimination of harmful psychiatric symptoms.
Description:
Outpatient treatment is offered in a variety of sites, including in-home support, to meet the needs of our clients. We assist individuals in increasing functioning and improving the quality of their life through stress and symptom management, development of coping skills and processing of emotions. Plans of care are individualized to meet specific needs including treatment for multiple diagnoses or co-occurring substance abuse issues. We provide services that are gender, culture and trauma sensitive, and work is conducted collaboratively with other providers to ensure continuity of care.
Services:
Assessments, individual, couples, or family therapy, psychoeducational groups, psychiatric evaluation, medication review and monitoring, psychiatric consultation with primary care physicians. Parent education, advocacy work, and care planning are also provided as needed. Specialized, comprehensive programming:
- Adolescents with sexual behavior problems
- Children and families with co-occurring mental health and substance use
Who can access:
Individuals 18 years of age or younger and their families (and up to age 22 if still in school). We work in collaboration with Upper Valley Services, another local provider, for those children and adolescents needing services for a developmental disability.
