CMC Holiday Food Basket and Angel Tree Project Activities

For the 8th year, the Holiday Food Basket Committee at Clara Martin Center has come together and was able to provide 150 community families with a basket of food for a wonderful holiday feast. Each family received a gift certificate for a turkey, side dishes, dessert, preparation ingredients, and a beautiful hand painted wall hanging. The wall hangings were painted by a wonderful community member, Eileen Daly.

Through fundraising and collaborative efforts, the committee has been able to provide over 1150 holiday meal baskets, feeding over 3,500 community members a holiday meal since 2016. This year, the  committee is comprised of committee founder Danielle Drown, and members; Michelle Grabowski, Caitlin Jansch, Jodine Meyers, Abby Young, Monica Comtois and Sarah Porter.

In continuing tradition, Courtney Ness, Bradford Child and Family Program lead, organized the CMC Angel Tree program, and was able to ensure that 60 community children received gifts this holiday season. Clara Martin Center remains thankful for the generosity of our community in these projects to share the blessings of the holidays together as a community.
